Even though I have lived on the North American continent for close to 7 years now, I'm still a European girl at heart, so when it comes to fashion, I like to stock up whenever I'm abroad. I find that trendiest looks cross the pond even two years after everyone is rocking them in Europe. So where's the fun in that, really? Also, when they do, they tend to cost an arm and a leg. I still can't wrap my mind around the fact that I can buy something for 10 Euros in in Spain only to come home and see it cost $200 in the same brand store.
But if a plane ticket to Europe sounds like too much of a hassle, there is good news. There are awesome European stores that ship to Canada and the US - case in point Blue Vanilla. I'm seriously obsessing over their spring collection right now, so take a peek at their new arrivals to see why you should too.
I'm wearing their Midi Long Sleeve Ribbed Dress in black which, not only makes me love my curves (we already had a deep conversation about it on Instagram), but is probably the comfiest dress I have ever worn. Think long boyfriend coat and sneakers with it. Am I right? It was also only £17, so no brainer there really.
Expect quality similar to what you would find at H&M or Forever 21 and make sure to pay special attention to sizing when ordering as European sizing is different than US sizing. I'm usually a 6 or 8 in Canada, but I order a medium, a 10 or a 12 in Europe depending on the sizing charts.
What are your favourite go-to brands for the latest affordable trends. Ever tried Blue Vanilla before?
Have a brilliant day!
